Two Palazzo Look

Palazzos have been the most comfortable attire for me in the recent past. I have often ditched the jeans in summers and loved the palazzos.

With palazzos you can create ethnic look, fusion look and as well as modern look. Toady I will show you two completely different looks with palazzos. So, let’s go started

Look 1

What I did: I have used a three-quarter maroon palazzos and long black kurti with mirror and ethnic work. I have used long dangling handmade Jaipuri earrings in black and blue. For make-up, since I was going to office, I didn’t use lots of makeup. Just sunscreen, Kajal, eyeliner, mascara and I did my brows. Later, I completed the look with a pair of beige flats.

Difficulty of the look: Very easy and confortable. Good for even brunches and some small pujas at home.

Places from which I got the things from: Palazzos (Oxolloxo.com), Kurta (Max- 2 years back), Earrings (it was gifted to me from a friend from Jaipur), Kajal (Colossal-Maybelline), Eyeliner (Lakme), Mascara (Blue-Heaven), Eye brow pencil (Marie Claire)

Look 2:

What I did: I used a pair of solid long flared palazzos. For top, I used a printed spaghetti top, which has some fluffy effect. Since, it’s a friendly brunch day out look, so I went little experimenting. For make-up, I used sun-block, CC cream and compact for base. Dark shade matte lipstick. I did my normal eye make-up of kajal, eyeliner and mascara. Of course, I did my brows. For accessories, I have used tringular silver studs (in medium size) and John Lennon sunnies. Later, I completed it with black wedges

Difficulty of the look: Easy-Medium. Comfortable, bold, edgy, funky. With little change of accessories, you can carry it for evening parties as well.

Places from which I got the things from: Palazzos (Oxolloxo.com), Top (Brand factory- 3 years back), Earrings (Delhi sarojini-4 years back), Kajal (Colossal-Maybelline), Eyeliner (Lakme), Mascara (Blue-Heaven), Eye brow pencil (Marie Claire), Sunnies (Amazon), Lipstick (Marie Claire)

Pondicherry Lookbook

As our blog says, we will have fashion from someone who is just girl next door. So, recently I visited Pondicherry and while sorting clothes for it, I had to go for a long thought process while packing. So, I don’t travel heavy so I will tell you exactly what I carried and made my looks good to go. It was just a 2 days trip so not much to carry.

So first let me tell you the essentials I carried. Pondicherry is a beach location. So, definitely carry your sun block and should be above SPF 30.

  1. VLCC Sun Screen Gel Cream (SPF 40, PA+++)
  2. Face Wash
  3. Body lotion, shampoo, body wash
  4. Make-up remover
  5. Wet wipes
  6. Night care routine essentials (Toner, aloe vera gel, eye cream and lip balm) (P.S: My daily night care routine is little longer than this)
  7. Make-up Pouch: [Lipstick (two nudes and one maroon), lip tint (Baby lips), Kajal, Eye liner, mascara, foundation, compact powder, concealer, eye shadow pallet, make-up sponge, brushes (lip brush, powder brush, eye shadow brush) and some accessories ( 2 pair of earrings, rings and two neck pieces

That’s what I carried for make up and skin care.

So now let me jump to the looks directly.

Look 1:

It was our first day, we have just reached that morning and went out to visit Mantri Mandir. We rented two wheeler for our whole travel in Pondicherry. So, here my look is pretty simple. I am wearing a flowy cotton dress on which I have tied a black ribbon to put together. A pair of chappal which has some gold details on the straps. I have accessorised with a watch, sun glass, a bag (which I have carried in my whole trip mostly) and a pair of very light earrings). I am wearing no male up so I kept my sunglasses on. Just I used sun block to protect myself.

Look 2:

On the same day after little rest we went out again in the evening. So, I am wearing an ankle length jeans, a boyfriend T-shirt which I have tucked in and a beige covered sandals to go with it. I carried only two foot-wears (this one and the earlier one). I did not wear any earrings or watch. I went for no eye make up and just some lip stick and tied hair.

Look 3:

It was on Day 2. We went to the beach. So here I am wearing a blue denim shorts and a red spaghetti crop top and later I used a long shrug as a cover-up. I am wearing the same green chappals and carrying the same bag. The only accessory is my aviators.

Look 4:

Here I am again wearing a A-line dress with halter neck. I have again tied it together with a black ribbon. I am using my same green chappals with the same aviators. I am wearing small pearl drop earrings to make it look classy and effortless. I am wearing a nude lipstick and eye liner and kajal to complete it. I kept my hair open.

Look 5:

It was day when we were about to leave. On Day 3 evening we left Pondicherry. So, mostly we were packed. So, I kept it as simple I could. I am wearing a plain lemon yellow T-shirt with Black palazzo.  I tucked my T-shirt to keep it clean. I am wearing my beige covered Sandals. No Earrings. Just watch and sunglasses on. I used lip tint and only eye liner.

That’s all for my Pondicherry lookbook. I took make up but there was not much use of it. If you enjoyed looking through it and helped you for your coming beach trip, let me know through your feedbacks in the comments. I will come up with new article soon.
